Mass Shootings and the Doctrine of Balaam

Updated: Dec 27, 2021

Balaam found that he could not curse God’s people as the story goes (Num.22-25 ). But he was greedy and wanted Balac's money (Jd.11, 2 Pt.2:15-16). So he conceived the idea that since he could not curse the people of God he must make them abominable in God’s sight and the fastest way to do this is to involve them in "free love" or fornication (not the first or last connection between sex and money), so the 'fathers' prostituted their whorish daughters to the Israelites. This worked with a mathematical and scientific precision. Jesus warned the churches of the wicked doctrine of Balaam in Revelation 2:14. (* note at the bottom) I understand that counter examples (or anecdotes) can be given for many claims as these are complex issues not hinging upon one instance; but we believe the scripture and expect the evidence in general (a national scale) to support it. In epistemology this is from a transcendental philosophy in general and synthetic a priori reasoning more particularly. (hopefully a post about this soon) The correlation would be- Fornication leads to (increases the propensity for and actual instances of) adultery (which also is included in the biblical definition fornication), divorce and illegitimate children (and the horrific abortion holocaust), pornography, rape, incest, pedophilia (see Rom.1:21-32). This leads to children being raised by single parents, foster parents, and step parents which in general (not a blanket statement, there are fantastic people raising and saving children, but this is not God’s perfect design of- male female/ father mother balance) do not care for the children as much as normal godly parents would care for their own children. Broken relationships and fractured families lead to anxiety and emotional instability and many more problems, usually depression and domestic violence (physical and emotional- no godly father and mother in the home); also related would be gangs and gang violence, as well as drug and alcohol use and experimentation (which usually leads to more fornication). Fornication leads us to broken marriages and families, which leads to broken communities and governments (also related- People are less religious when government is bigger). So, the whorish spirit mingled in our nation has created a matrix of instability and confusion out of which arises every evil work. In other words (speaking collectively on a national scale and not every particular instance)- if A equals B and B equals C then A equals C. Psa.9:17, Prov.14:34 Also in general terms the teachings of naturalistic evolution and anti-biblical, anti-Christian doctrines (as in 1962 & 1963) underlie this foundation of fornication- what you believe effects what you do. The doctrine of Balaam seems very prevalent in our day. Following naturalistic evolutionary philosophy every mental and emotional instability is physical and chemical only (although that belief itself is abstract and not physical… hmm) and should be treated by Pharmaceutical companies and Psychiatrists and Psychologists (https://rickthomas.net/psychiatric-drugs-mass-shootings/). We believe the body, soul and spirit need to be properly balanced by keeping the statutes and judgments of God richly in our hearts. These imbalances created by Christ-less living (along with chemical issues affecting our bodies- see links below) are destructive to a nation as it destroys the godly family and institution of marriage- the foundation of society. The fruit of this is personal destruction, relational destruction within the family, and violence. The relationships created by God to cultivate the most powerful emotions of love and self-sacrifice quickly become the most powerful movers of jealousy, envy and hate (e.g. 2 Sam.13:15). The emotions (soul) generated between male and female to be the foundation of the family leading to a covenant (spirit) and the consummation of that covenant (body) are toyed with by silly children (teens) not able to handle the force of it and find it to turn into an overwhelmingly destructive mover of their thoughts, driving them to foolish and life altering decisions. (Or they sear their conscience and sever their emotions from the physical act of intercourse. See Oxytocin & Vasopressin) Many times this leads to violence and suicide. Most gun related deaths in the US are suicides- almost 2/3’s- https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/mass-shootings-are-a-bad-way-to-understand-gun-violence/ The article points out-“ Last year, we produced a series of stories on American gun deaths and the people behind the statistics. From that reporting, and other sources, we know mass shootings are different from other kinds of gun deaths in several ways. First, they’re rare, and the people doing the shooting are different. The majority of gun deaths in America aren’t even homicides, let alone caused by mass shootings. Two-thirds of the more than 33,000 gun deaths that take place in the U.S. every year are suicides (click through the graphic here to see how gun deaths break down): https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/gun-deaths/ And while people who commit suicide and people who commit mass shootings both tend to be white and male, suicide victims tend to be older. The median age of a mass shooter, according to one report, is 34, with very few over 50. Suicide, however, plagues the elderly as much as it does the middle-aged. Second, the people killed in mass shootings are different from the majority of homicides. Most gun murder victims are men between the ages of 15 and 34. Sixty-six percent are black. Women — of any race and any age — are far less likely to be murdered by a gun. Unless that gun is part of a mass shooting. There, 50 percent of the people who die are women. And at least 54 percent of mass shootings involve domestic or family violence — with the perpetrator shooting a current or former partner or a relative.”   (Guns are a force equalizer, and "women are the fastest growing demographic of new gun owners in the country, right? And that women applying for their concealed carry permits has surged 270 percent" - Gun bans benefit criminals- https://www.conservativereview.com/articles/baltimore-effect-gun-grabbers-dont-want-debate/ ) Don’t be deceived by vain words from politicians and TV pundits; there is no political solution for a personal problem. The government cannot replace God. Our problem is not a gun problem it is a spiritual problem. I would be interested in seeing how many gun related deaths are the product of fornication. Others have connected the use of psychotropic drug prescription (drugs that affect a person's mental state) and violence pointing out the majority of mass shooters appeared to be taking some form of the drugs- here are a couple of examples: https://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/crime/item/28307-from-prozac-to-parkland-are-psychiatric-drugs-causing-mass-shootings https://youtu.be/JlLiAfiueo4 https://www.naturalnews.com/039752_mass_shootings_psychiatric_drugs_antidepressants.html# http://behaviorismandmentalhealth.com/2014/09/22/mass-murderers-and-psychiatric-drugs/ This is simply the calculated destruction of our nation. We need to stand in the whole armor of God (Eph.6:10-20) and teach and preach the saving gospel (Rom.1:16) of Jesus Christ and pray for our country (1Tim.2:1-3, 2 Chr.7:14). Christians better awake from slumbering’s.

* Reading the Book The Devil and Karl Marx I found an interesting quote from famed feminist activist Kate Millett, who her sister described in the book as demon possessed. In an early Communist revolutionary assemblage they would in a form of Litany recite how to "make revolution". The formula consisted in true Balaam form of destroying the family by destroying the marriage through sexual lasciviousness.- pg.366
