Mystery of life, from whence doth it arise?
From the deepest of hearts, from the farthest of skies?
Why are thou here, from whence camest thou?
To rise in our hearts, to light a kiss on our brow?
She cannot bleed nor can she die. She forces us to consider why.
She causes us to find a way, to always give, to always stay.
Her call to us is when the day doth darken,
For everyone of us to hearken.
And time wanes the proud waves of your tide.
Or wind blows back the thin veil of your pride.
Once she calleth and you give her ear,
Your heart will blossom til there is no fear.
She will transform with a fire in your breast,
And anything wicked to her you detest.
She stands before you, can you not see?
Let her untangle your thoughts and be free.
When she joins the righteous, eternity will tell.
How greater is she than the fires of hell.
When Love Becomes Hate
In seeking love in finding none
Afraid to show the hidden one.
Will you be content to settle?
So long as they abstain to meddle.
Why doth rejection run so deep?
And why acceptance feels complete?
As cruel dreams take a battering toll
Or as cool streams to a thirsty soul
When scarce one finds a mate to play
And scarcer still a soul to stay
Slowly shows the hidden heart
Will they embrace or will they part?
Will I be ashamed or will I be free?
Will I hurt you before you hurt me?
Love that filled the hearts of twain
Is equaled by its loss and pain
A jealous heart a cruel rage
Shall play itself on acrid stage
How can love become deep seated hate?
When before it soothed the hearts flooded gate
How do we find such things are within?
That resided when we first begin?
Oh soul of man do you not see?
How patterned this creation be?
For the end of all is placed inside man
The infinite spectrum which we will span
Will you reside by loves eternal well?
Or the jealous fires of eternal hell?
